Aaaaah! A spider!

As you probably would guess I decorate my office for Halloween.  One of the things I did this year is to hide spiders around my office.  These are big, brown, hairy spiders, very realistic looking.  One of them is hding on the box of tissues on my desk with its front legs in the top tissue with the tissue curled over it to hide its presence (see photo).

When you pull up on the tissue the spider "jumps".  It's important to note that I am very much arachniphobic, so having creepy, realistic looking spiders around me is already creeping me out a little.  I know, phobias defy logic.  I get that.  Let's just say that after this weekend of waaaaay too little sleep at 7V, my brain is not firing on all cylinders.  I reached for a tissue and scared myself half to death when a spider jumped out at me.  Holy crap, did I jump!

I do the same thing :P I can't help it, they're just so halloween! Not having them would just feel weird. But man this morning went to brush my teeth, reached for toothbrush, and yup similar reaction XD at least the oversized spiders it's easy to remember that tarantulas aren't native here. But the little fake ones are almost worse because they're plausible heh.

Yeah, easy to remember *after* your heart stops racing and your logical brain kicks back in.
