Oh my god, it was tearing my heart out to have to pare back the list of people I could bring. I felt like I was kicking my puppy and stabbing my friend at the same time. I was so conflicted with not knowing what we'd be up against and *needing* to succeed. It was killing me, in a good, IG sort of way, you understand.
