Madrigal highlights

This is the short list.  This is by no means comprehensive nor in any particular order.  I'll at least put a bullet point out later.

-Saturday morning duets with Nur. 
-Angst and woe discussions with Halia and Klee over how much to share
-"Happy" family reunion, because I didn't have enough angst and woe
-Angst and woe of having to cut back the list of "my" mission.  Do you see a common phrase showing up here?  ;-)
-George!!!!!
-High Inquisitor Lirannon.  I passed!!!!!
-Mischief with Sonia

So, I was meeting with George and just starting to work out a bargain, when across the field I see High Inquisitor Lirannon heading toward me.  I had been waiting for both of these things, so of course they occurred at the same moment.  I immediately went into despair mode and then it occured to me that if I just disappeared for a while and then reappeared George would never miss me, so I went with the Inquisitor.

Sure enough, when I came back out of that discussion, George was still around talking to Halia and Maven.  I yelled out a friendly greeting to him, "George!"
G: You're name is George?  That's a great name.  You look a lot like a man named Zephyr that I know.
Z: Oh, look there *turning George to the left while running around him to the right*
Z: *holding out hand from the other side of George* Hi, I'm Zephyr!

Halia and Maven were laughing hysterically and it was all I could do to keep a semi-straight face.  I understand they went and reenacted the scene for several people.  I love George!

What a weekend. You put me through the wringer, my friend. Obviously, I forgive you (in no small part because I thrive on angst, but also because you made me laugh so hard by spinning George around), and I'm so glad the worst-case scenario didn't happen -- in any of our myriad trials.

When I first met George of course Locke doesn't really have time or the mental acuity for that sort of thing, but quietly I was wondering if Vic might not be related in some way :) Sorry for adding a bit to the trouble of cutting back on the list!

Oh my god, it was tearing my heart out to have to pare back the list of people I could bring. I felt like I was kicking my puppy and stabbing my friend at the same time. I was so conflicted with not knowing what we'd be up against and *needing* to succeed. It was killing me, in a good, IG sort of way, you understand.

Hah, believe me when I say I have some understanding of that, my friend. Locke could see his friend's heart being torn asunder right in front of his eyes. As always you performed some really amazing roleplay there.

I really think that depends on your definition of squalor... I heard about one thing that she said; let's just say I personally am glad I never have and hopefully never will have to be face-to-face with her. :-)

Do I even want to know what it is that I said? (Granted, the High Inquisitor is not a friend of the Pale and not particularly quiet about it, so there are probably a lot of things I've said that would make lots of people unhappy.)
