So, remember Jack Voss? He's that guy at 7 Virtues who plays Richard Horton (the father), used to play a half-ogre Scourge (for you old time NERO players). If he's not standing out in your memory, he's the guy that's about 6'6" - 6''7". He stands out... literally.
Anyway, he works for me (a damned fine prorammer, I might add) and posted the following on our company's email today:
Hello,
I am participating with my brother and Stamford EMS in an event sponsored by St. Baldricks. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is committed to funding the best research for kids with cancer. St. Baldricks sponsors a number of these events all over the country at many times over the years. Basically people accept donation and then have their hair buzzed cut. Now I know that for me that is basically getting a normal haircut. So what I am proposing is that if I make my goal I will not only get my hair buzzed short, I will return home and shave my head bald, and shave off my beard. The event is on April 15th at the cadilac ranch.
The web address for my page is this :

Thank you for your support.
Jack Voss

The Marlin Company
His goal is (was) $200 to shave his head and face bald. My company pledged $300 and broke his goal to pieces. Jack has now indicated that if he reaches $1,000 by April 14th, he will also shave his legs and wear a kilt to work on April 15.
Now you might be wondering what this has to do with you., since it's unlikely you'll be here to see Jack in this condition. Well I'll tell you where you come in. Jack has indicated that if he gets up to $1,500 he will shave his head and face and wear that kilt for the 7 Virtues event at the end of May. If he gets up to $2,000 he will also shave his legs again for that event in addition to wearing the kilt.
Remember, it's for a really good cause and you get to see Jack make a foo... I mean, you get to make fun of Jac... um, well, you get the idea. So go out there and help out the cause to fight children's cancer. I suspect I will be putting in a rather sizable donation myself on this one.
