Ending vacation

Vacation was nice, relaxing.  I basically treated myself to downtime activities I normally wouldn't.  I even got time to sit by the pool and get a sunburn while beating my darling wife at Scrabble.  I played two 7 letter words in one game.  I was pretty pleased.

The flight back was... interesting.  I swear the guy in front of me defecated in his pants.  I could smell it the entire flight.  It was pretty disgusting.  While we were waiting for our luggage, this same guy came up and stood next to me.  The woman with him asked him if he felt better and he said yes.  As soon as he was within a few feet though, the smell from the plane was back.  Yeah, TMI, but since I suffered through it, you know the old saying, "Misery loves company".

Getting back had many upsides.  The house was relatively quiet with Nick, Nellie and Jason gone.  Flute choir rehearsal was great.  We had a new member who was enthusiastic and pretty decent.  The Patriots beat the chargers!  Who could have has asked for more?

On the downside, back to work.  OMG me email, voice mail and mail box are going to keep me hopping for a few days.  *sigh*  I suppose I should get back to it.  Have a good week, all!
