Weird injustices, but amazingly cool
Aug. 18th, 2007 08:23 pmAs most of you know, my brother was Patriots Fan of the Year several years ago. He has seasons tickets. He hosts huge tailgate parties at home games. He hosts huge Pats parties at his house during away games. He's done interviews for TV and newspaper in relation to the Pats. He went to Super Bowls they were in. He went to the White House with them. Keep all that in mind.
Tedy Bruschi wrote a book called "Never Give Up" that came out just recently. It's all about his battle to recover from the stroke that almost ended his football career. If you don't know, Tedy is a linebacker and captain of the defense for the Patriotrs. Randy is viewed by Tedy as his number one non-family member fan (to quote the book).
In the middle of the book are a bunch of color photos. One of them is a picture of Tedy giving high fives to his fans in front of the banner that Randy puts up in front of his seats for every game. This photo was taken during the period of time that Randy was unable to use his seats because he was wheel chair bound. Note the two people you should know by now who are in those seats.
