Back from Holiday / Vacation

I was out on vacation last week.  I primarily took the time off from work to put time in on the database I'm designing for United Health Care.  I know, it seems crazy to take vacation to work, but it was the only way I'm going to get this done on time, or close to on time.  

Thanksgiving was small this year, only 10 people.  Monique handles meals that small in her sleep.  It was a relatively low-key couple of days.

The weekend saw more work on the database.  I think I got about 25 hours into it this week.

I also managed to sneak in two of the remaining Christmas songs for the Christmas party chorus.  Only two to go, hopefully tonight.

And what a Pats game.  We were supposed to thrash the Eagles but I was biting my fingernails until the last 11 seconds of the game.  That was worse than the Colts game.

Some days

... it's just not worth getting out of bed.  I should have stayed home today in the hopes that Monday would have just gone away.

 - Don't try to get me to do your damn job.  Look it up yourself.
 - Post vacation blah sucks.
 - Post vacation catch up sucks worse.
 - System issues while trying to do post vacation catch up sucks even worse.
