7 thing blog-game - Day 1

The rules, as I grabbed them from my meme pusher: "Comment to this post and I will list seven things I want you to talk about. They might make sense or they might be totally random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your journal. Other people can get lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself."

I know that right now I realistically do not have time to pick topics for people.  Heck I shouldn't even be doing this with all the things I have going, but we all have to have a little fun in our day, right?  Therefore I'm going to restrict this, over the course of the next week, to answering the ones I was given.
