The pollen only affects me for about 6 - 7 weeks in the Fall. It will sometimes make my September events miserable. As to the spiders, if I don't see them, I'm ok, but I get really freaked out if I see one anywhere near my sleeping space. They die quickly. I'm kind of like your icon. :-)
I'm not scared of the ocean, but I don't like to go in it. With me, the ocean is all about the senses. I like to hear it, see it and smell it, but if I'm close enough to feel it or taste it, I'm too close.
