New baby
My second grandchild, Elijah Alexander, arrived this morning at about 1:15. These early morning calls have got to stop. Anyway, he was 6 pounds even. Chris, Amy and Elijah are all fine. Monique went down right away. I'm going to wait until tonight.
We have a new customer web site that went live overnight. I can't afford not to be here at work today, so no early morning visits for me. That, and I need my beauty sleep (obviously). ;-)
Congratulations Chris and Amy!

More LARPing is really starting to sound good. ;-)

You're old. ;) (I only say that because I think of you as being muuuuuuuuuuuuch closer to my generation than, say, my parents', and I'm sure time travel must be involved for you to actually be a grandfather already at all, let alone twice over.)

I'm actually a generational 'tweener. I'm 48. Too young to be a grandparent and too old to still be running around in the woods playing make believe. ;-)
Should I stop playing with you young whipper snappers?

Seriously, I think of you as about 38. It's all lies. Weird fluxes in the timestream. And I wouldn't say that for just anybody.

So, how did you and Monique manage to raise kids when you were both around 5 years old, anyway? :) That is the only way I can see you as grandparents.

On the other hand, I was an ancient 22 at the time. ;-)

So when do you next escape to LARP?

Fortunately, they are in the basement and we are on the top floor. Our house is well insulated, so downstairs baby noise won't affect us, just the lucky mom and dad.

Elijah!
Re: Elijah!
Thanks to all who acknowledged and congratulated us on the arrival of Elijah... he's one lucky little boy with all of the care, love and support he's received from family and friends.
