Made my day

I got the coolest note from a friend today that just absolutely made my day.  It went like this:

Grum's Company had a little IG gather just this weekend and we generally posed questions to one another. When asked, "If you could spend time, or had to, with someone in Shadowfane that wasn't a member of Grum's Company, who would it be?"

The answer was largely "Zephyr" or "Oh, Zephyr, that's a good one. I change my answer. He's cool."

Just thought you might like to know. ^_^

That was so cool of her to share with me.  I needed that kind of pick-me-up.

I am definitely part of the Zephyr fan club. She told it just like it happened!

I too, am part of said club.

I mean, he is an honorary Zhuriel.

He should print up cards. I mean, Wanker did it in Atlas 1 and I think I still have it somewhere! ;)

Secret fan club decoder rings would not go over poorly. ;)

I agree with them. Sadly however, and no offense intended, Galan does not. :)

no, but everyone deserves thier own eurvien friend. thankfully you've invested in the stone eurvien. which is good, because we also make good paperweights, and can be used to open those problematic nutshells.

And troublesome shellfish! Yay for earth Eurvein!

I would hope the first person outside Grum's Company that would come to Galan's mind would be Kiri. ;-)

It is, in fact. :) :)

How cool!

:)

That is nice and all, but...

I suppose this is nice in a way. But to be honest, you have to understand that Grum's Company is a fairly sigular case. Not to put too fine a point on it, you need to realize that what makes them Grum's company is a shared willingness to associate with, well, Grum. Doesn't that alone call into question their taste in companionship?

Well, potentially, I suppose that is a consideration. ;-)

On the other hand, we're talking about highborns such as the lady Valentine, so that must be taken into consideration as well.

I was the one who changed his mind to Zephyr. I remember thinking "Blast! that is a much better answer then what I said! why didnt I think of that!" :)

Doh. I totally forgot you were part of Grum's company. I should have mentioned you along with Valentine as part of the upper crust of the group. :-)

So who was your original answer?

[identity profile] create-universe.livejournal.com 2008-07-24 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd be curious to learn who you answered originally. Not that I am hoping it was me or anything. Because, you know, I'm not insecure. Nope.

Well, you do have that remarkable sense of humor. I could see it. ;-)
