My darling brother, because of his lack of sight, can't really scour all the LARP pages and get event dates for planning his next bardic event.  Because I was doing this for him, I decided to post it here in case any of my LARP friends needed help planning the rest of their LARP year.

This is sorted by date. If you want it any other way, let me know.  I put it in a spreadsheet.  If you feel I have unjustly overlooked a game that belongs in this cluster, let me know the dates and I'll add it.  These are all based on the games' web sites as of today.  Endgame is based on their registration page and not their schedule page, which is 2008 dates.

April 17 - 19     Ravenholt
April 24 - 26     Aralis, Kaurath and Pirates
May 1 - 3         Endgame and Volta
May 8 - 10        Isles and Madrigal
May 15 - 17       Aralis and Valiant
May 22 - 25       Kaurath
May 29 - 31       Endgame
June 5 - 7        Pirates
June 12 - 14      Ravenholt and Valiant
June 19 - 21      Isles
August 28 - 30    Endgame
September 11 - 13 Ravenholt, Pirates and Valiant
September 18 - 20 Isles and Volta
September 25 - 27 Kaurath
September to be determined    Aralis
October 2 - 4     Endgame
October 9 – 11    Madrigal and Valiant
October 16 - 18   Ravenholt
October 23 - 25   Isles, Kaurath and Pirates
October to be determined      Aralis
November 13 - 15 Madrigal
December 4 - 6    Volta

Don't forget that you have to throw in some VALOR too. I could throw it in the mix I suppose, though it's a little far afield.

Poor [livejournal.com profile] vanora27, 3 in a row in May...I'll lay in a case of wine.

Yeah, May is the Merry Month of Driving

Here was the personal horror I was looking at for May. I play 2 NERO chapters, Madrigal, and I NPC Endgame. All 4 games have events in May, with Endgame doubling up. So if I was to attend them all, I would be at Endgame the first weekend (954 mi), Madrigal the second (804 mi), South Carolina the third (812 mi), my local NERO chapter the fourth (a mere 100 mi) and finally Endgame again for the last weekend. That would be 2670 miles of traveling if google maps is to be trusted.

Obviously, I don't intend to do all of those. Best guess right now is Madrigal, one of the Endgames and my local NERO event. Then we enter the great June/July/August summer dry spell. Feast or famine.

Thanks!!!

I need to sart looking for NPCs for Isles and this helps me to not approach those Accelerant games conflicting with our game.

You're welcome. It's going to be a rough year for you on that front. You're bumping up against competition a couple of times. Good luck.

Quite frankly, not alot. Except for where we conflict with Madrigal. Most of our NPCs are from Madrigal, Endgame and some from the Calling. Main problem will be if there are larped out and don't want to NPC, sigh.

You're just saying that. Of course, saying it doesn't mean it's false. ;-) *hugs*

What gets me, of course

Is that *nothing* is running this weekend except for DragonCrest at Ye Olde...

Seriously, I PC/NPC like 8-10 games and not a ONE is running this weekend. Just bizarre!!

Clearly this means you need to START a new game.

Death to free time!

Be well.

Speaking of free time, in case you forgot, you and I have an appointment tomorrow morning.

Of course, when I made that appointment I didn't know that I'd be down in MD for five days, so we'll have to reschedule.

A few months ago, I made a larp calendar on Google for all of the New England games I was aware of:

Very cool. Not very useful to Randy, but very cool for us sighted folk.

Indeed. Yours works much better for Randy, but it still a good resource to have.

The [livejournal.com profile] ne_larp community used to post similar lists, but seems to have gotten distracted lately. :(
