Looking for a lyricist

I've been asked to do an in-game song for the feast the night before the NERO heroes go off to die, uh, I mean defeat the horror that is Oraban. The whole point is to inspire courage in the hearts of those going to face him. I *can* write lyrics, but it adds about 3 months to the project, 3 months we don't have. I'm much better at just putting music to pre-written lyrics. Anyone out there familiar with the whole Oraban debacle, I mean fiasco, I mean situation, that they'd feel comfortable putting something like that together... in less than two weeks?

The actual event is January 8th, but I need a couple weeks to put the music to the words and learn it so I can sing it. In game credit will be given to the character that composes the words if you'd like it to be an IG collaboration. I'll happily share credit (especially if it comes out poorly). ;-) Just kidding, most of you familiar with this know the quality of my work from "Unicorns of the Heart".

I don't know much about NERO, and thusly Oraban. But I can probably put together some lyrics for you if you like.

Probably more fun to make it an IC thing though. And as I am not involved in NERO...

HOWEVER, if such a thing comes up in Madrigal... I'm all over it. ;)

Yeah, likely it should have some elements of the Oraban story line to it to make it meaningful. And while I'm sure there is plenty of literature out there on it and players who can tell you all about it, time is of the essence.

Zephyr is looking for some good BMV inspirational healing songs to sing during battle. Interested in writing some words?

I think, although I'm not sure, that Trivanus doesn't have a Livejournal. He being one knowledgeable in things Oraban. I'd be happy to help if I can.

He does not have an LJ and it is in fact Trivanus that has asked for this song. He was going to try and find someone to do this for me and sort of forgot we talked about it (until I reminded him today).

If you think you can come up with some inspiring lyrics in the next couple of weeks, I'd love to have you. It doesn't need to be long, maybe three verses and a chorus, more if you feel inspired, but don't go longer on my account. A consistent meter across all the verses would be fantastic.
