A week ago I was feeling prety good about my 7 Virtues preparations.  I felt good enough about it in fact to say that at our last plot meeting.  However, after losing most of Saturday to handling some unexpected financial issues and feeling very much out of sorts yesterday, feeling very unfocused and spending unexpected time with my older son and grandson, I got maybe a quarter of what I planned on this weekend.  I've gone from feeling, "I'm doing good" to feeling, "Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!".

I am sooooo glad I didn't go to Madrigal.  I'll bet you never thought you'd hear me say that.

See, I've personally moved on from "HOLY CRAP I CAN'T GET THIS DONE ON TIME I'M SO SCREWED AAAHHHHHHH" mode to fatalistic "What gets done will get done, and what doesn't doesn't, and I just have to prioritize and be prepared to have to fly by the seat of my pants on some stuff" mode. But I know you're a mad perfectionist and probably have trouble reaching that particular zen state. ;)

The good news is that for NEXT event we'll have FOUR MONTHS to prepare, and you've got your trusty minion handling certain things for you, and I bet it will be SO MUCH BETTER.

GOOD LUCK!!! Let me know what's at the bottom of your priority list, and I'll tell you if I think it can be safely blown off altogether for this event. Seriously.

Clearly you still don't know me very well. My priority list isn't vertical, it's horizontal. There are multiple items at each priority level. Priority 2 and down are empty.

This stems from work where our priority list is
super hot critical rush
hot critical rush
critical rush
rush

I laugh when people say something is a rush. :-)
