Car update

After much consideration, Monique and I decided on a new vehicle.  Since we couldn't even start the old car, it was unlikely we were going to get a better trade-in than at the Honda dealership we were likely going to buy at anyway, so we bought there.  Me and the Honda finance company are now the proud owners of a 2011 Honda Odyssey. 

Not having two car payments at the same time was nice while it lasted.  :-(

Thank you everyone for the well wishes on the woes of the week.  (Wow!  That's some serious alliteration there.)

I know it wasn't in your budget, but I'm sure the new car will give you less trouble than the old one.

I sympathize. I got to be in the same spot with going back to 2 car payments, when I had really hoped to wait. In the end, I am glad I did as a newer car has been MUCH less stress, despite the payment (at least it is predictable...) And couldn't we all use a bit less stress these days?
