Prepping to leave

I'm leaving this afternoon for Tampa FL for 9 days.  I wish it were all vacation.  Sunday afternoon through Tuesday night, I'll be at my company's annual National Sales Meeting.  Lovely.  At least this year I won't be doing a presentation.  Last year I got to the hotel in the afternoon and was told, "By the way, you're doing a presentation tomorrow morning at 10:00".  I got smart this year and checked in advance.  I have to sit on a panel and answer questions, but that's easy.

Wednesday, Monique and I will be going down to Miami for her to spend a couple of days meeting with her new reports there.  She's moving up in the world.  She has people reporting to her in several states.  This will be the first time she meets with these.

Monique's parents are down in the Tampa area for a month or so.  The days that neither of us have any work commitments, we'll be staying with them and Monique will be with them while I'm at the sales meeting.

In the meantime, I've been working twelve hour days lately.  Yesterday I was here from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm.  I'm back at 5:30 this morning.  Work is killing me.  Must get to it.  If I don't get to LJ for a while, have a good 9 days all.
