First day in Florida
Jan. 6th, 2007 07:03 pmMonique and I had a pretty decent flight down yesterday. We got to her parents' place around 7:30. I've been pulling such long hours lately under such stressful conditions that I decided to crash early.
I slept in until 8:30 this morning. It felt so decadent, but I really needed it. It was warm and sunny here today. I've spent a great deal of the day sitting on the couch in the living room working on my laptop, looknig out over the bay. There are a lot of birds. I saw my first turkey vulture ever today. What a weird looking thing. We played games with her mom and dad for a while this afternoon. Then we went out for a bit. All in all, just a nice relaxing day.
Tomorrow the Pats host the Jets at Foxboro. Should be a good game. Then off to the hotel where the sales meeting is for the kick off dinner with the sales force.
