Latest and greatest on the medical front

The options are open her up, which risks exposing her intestines to infection (not so good) or put her on a long term antibiotic until the problem is permanently resolved. He feels this was caught early enough for the antibiotic option, so she's starting a double strength regimen of antibiotics.
He also said that she didn't overreact on this, so she's feeling a lot better about that.
She has an appointment on March 7th to discuss long term doctor options. The doctor she saw today was talking about someone in Philadelphia instead of the original consideration of someone in the Carolinas. However, this isn't her primary surgeon, so I guess we'll know more on the 7th.
