JDE Users' Group Conference
Jul. 19th, 2011 09:56 pmSo for the next couple of days (Wed and Thurs) I'll be attending a conference at Mohegan Suns for the JDE Users' Group. For those of you who don't know it, JDE is an Enterprise software made by Oracle. It's also what the company I work for uses and I'm responsible for a lot of it. It also has... issues. Hey sans_peur, how was that for politic?
Anyway, I'll be going to 7 or 8 seminars over the next two days, listening to how other companies have handled some issues and what some 3rd party consultants recommend, undoubtedly in the attempt to sell you their services.
So, the bottom line is I'll be pretty much out of touch for the next couple of days, but I'll be checking emails and such at night at my hotel room, which is a Best Western down the road from Mogean Suns and not at the casino itself.
