Madrigal revel

Wow! Just, wow! That event was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Staff must have spent crazy amounts of time prepping for that. The amount of attention to detail was unbelievable and the meshing back stories of so many things... I'm astounded.
Sadly, I ended up with a migraine Friday night that started right as things were kicking into high gear. Much of the activity was taking place outside my tent with me laying there thinking, "Oh please take it outside into the freezing cold". It wasn't loud, but when your head is trying to rip itself off your shoulders, even the soft thwap, thwap of weapons on shields is a lot of noise.
I spent most of Saturday with my brain feeling like mush. That part wasn't so good. I just can't imagine how much more I would have enjoyed the whole thing if I'd been feeling well. Oh yeah, I can. I missed the biggest friggin' clue by four of my LARPing career, something that I will never get an opportunity at again, a priest of fate to answer my fate related legend lore question. JJ even poked me and prodded me and my brain was so fried I didn't have a glimmer of a clue. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I threw it away. Plot staff, that was an amazing and unbelievably cool chance you gave me and I boned it. Sorry. :-(
But overall, it was a phenomenal event and I had a great time. More to come later when I'm not so pressed for time.

The Revel is so...different from a regular event. It's hard to remember how to act.
Sorry you weren't feeling well...I was having some troubles myself. Made it tough to rumble through in full Anya fashion.
