Rick's Journal

Of course, I wasn't home for most of Father's Day as I was at NERO this weekend and didn't get home until 8:00 last night.  That's a long story for a different post.  

I got a "Happy Father's Day" call from my youngest son, Nick.  Unfortunately, he called while I was still at NERO, so I only got a voice message.  That's ok, it's the thought that counts.  I will call him while driving home tonight 

Elijah got me a Happy Grandfather's card.  Monique got me a card.  Chris and Amy got me cards with a Dunkin' Donuts card, very appropriate and appreciated.

A rather sedate Father's Day celebration, but perfectly acceptable to me.  I'm not big on Father's Day anyway.

On a short note, the weekend was pretty good and I'll be writing more about that later.
